When attempting to log into PeopleSoft, some users encounter this error message: Your User ID and/or Password are invalid.
If you were attempting to log in from the Campus Portal, please note that in spite of the error message, this normally does not indicate a problem with your User ID or your Password. In normal circumstances, most users should never see this Oracle login screen at all.
In most cases, this error message will actually indicate that your User Profile has become locked within PeopleSoft.
If you encounter this error message, please open a ticket and the PeopleSoft team will check your User Profile status.
Other reasons this might occur
As noted above, in the vast majority of examples, this issue occurs when a User Profile is locked within PeopleSoft.
However, other possible causes include:
- Errors in the single sign-on (SSO)
- System is offline for maintenance
