Quick links: | Remove Eduroam | Setup Eduroam |
This article will cover the Eduroam setup for devices running ChromeOS. Depending on your hardware and the version of ChromeOS you are using, your setup process may look slightly different.
We recommend installing all available system updates and making sure your wireless network adapter is turned on before you continue.
If you receive an "Unable to Connect" or similar error, please visit our office in Meriam Library 142. You may have an expired password, locked account, or affiliation issues that prevent a successful connection to the wireless network.
Continuous connection attempts could lock your Chico State account.
Remove Chico State Wireless Networks
Before trying to connect, it is important to remove any configurations made from previous connection attempts. This can prevent issues of incorrect networks automatically connecting and causing unexpected issues in the future.
If you have never attempted setup, you can skip directly to Setup Eduroam.
- Go to your wireless settings by clicking the settings menu in the bottom right of your screen and clicking the arrow under the Wi-Fi icon.

- Click the gear icon to go to your wireless network settings.
- Click the arrow on the right side of the Wi-Fi network to display all known networks.
- Click the arrow on the right side of the csuchico wireless network to display the csuchico network settings.
- Click Forget to forget the csuchico network. Repeat this process with the csuchico-guest and the eduroam network, if necessary.

- While not required, it is recommended to restart your computer before continuing through the setup process for eduroam.
