Adobe Creative Cloud

Adobe Creative Cloud is a group of applications used for design, productivity, and development. Adobe CC is available on Windows and Mac desktops, as well as some mobile devices.

Popular Adobe Creative Cloud applications include Photoshop, Stock, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom, Premiere, After Effects, Acrobat DC, and more.

To gain access to Adobe Creative Cloud, follow these steps:

Step 1: Request License

**If you have already received an email stating you had access, or if your professor requested access for you, you can skip this step.**

To get access to the campus-licensed Adobe Creative Cloud apps, you must submit a request to IT Support Services:

Step 2: Wait for a Response from ITSS

Step 3: Install Adobe Creative Cloud

Step 4: Log into Adobe

  • Bridge: Centralized desktop access for all your files and assets.
  • Acrobat DC: View, edit, and annotate PDFs from anywhere.
  • Dreamweaver: Design and develop modern, responsive websites.
  • Audition: Audio recording, mixing, and restoration.
  • InCopy: Make text edits and layout modifications without impacting designs.
  • Prelude: Metadata ingest, logging, and rough cuts.

All Chico Faculty, Staff, and Students have been given access to Adobe Shared Device Access. Adobe Shared Device Access is a program that lets users create a variety of visual content, including animations, posters, and social media posts without needing the full Creative Cloud license.
