Guest & Conference Accounts

Summary

Guest & Conference Accounts are created to provide access for a group of users to the same campus resources utilizing shared conference account credentials.

Body

Guest accounts provide an individual user access to some campus resources, such as a library computer.

Conference Accounts provide a group of users access to the same campus resources utilizing shared (common) conference account credentials (Chico State, User name &  password). By default, they include access to the "csuchico-guest" wireless network.  The request form includes additional resources that can be provisioned with approval. 

Conference Accounts must be requested at least two business days before the conference start date.  Please submit your request as early in advance as possible using the Guest/Conference Account Request Form

Note:  A department sponsor must submit the guest account request.
