Log into an MFP

Requesting an MFP Pin

Before being able to copy or scan, you will have to sign into the Multi-Function Printer (MFP). To do so, you will need your personal MFP PIN. If you are unsure of your MFP PIN code, you can put in a request with the Print Support team at IT Support Services: https://support.csuchico.edu/TDClient/1984/Portal/Requests/ServiceDet?ID=14806

Your MFP PIN will be a 5 to 8-digit number that is assigned to you specifically. Do not share this with others.

Log into the Printer

Now that you have your PIN, you should be able to sign into the printer.

On the screen of your MFP, you should see the login screen. Enter your PIN using the keypad and click Login on the screen. There is no password, which is why it is important to keep your PIN secure.

Make sure to click Log Out when done with all printing, scanning, or copying.
