Authority and Decision-Making
The TDx Steering Committee has the authority to designate and approve internet addresses for the Client Portal and its subsections.
- Units requesting a specific address for a Client Portal page must submit their request to the Steering Committee.
- Requests are reviewed to maintain consistency and integrity of the portal.
- Decisions of the Steering Committee are final.
Address Formats and Aliases
Approved addresses will typically be available in two forms:
- Subdomain-based: e.g.,
support.csuchico.edu
- Directory-level redirect-based: e.g.,
www.csuchico.edu/support
Multiple aliases may also be approved (e.g., itsupport, ithelp, itservicedesk), though one must always be designated as the primary address.
