Overview
TDx allows technicians to create custom reports, also known as queues, to view and manage tickets efficiently. These reports can be added directly to the IT Services dashboard for quick access each time you log in.
Using Search
Use the search tool to quickly locate specific tickets based on criteria like ID, requestor, or status.
- In the IT Services app, click Search in the left sidebar
- Choose your criteria (e.g., Ticket ID, Status, Requestor, Group Responsibility)
- Click Apply to view results
Note: Searches are useful for quick lookups. While you can save searches, it is recommended instead to create reports (queues) that you can add to your IT Services dashboard.
Creating Reports (Queues)
To create a reusable ticket queue in the IT Services app:
- Click Report in the top toolbar
- Click + New Report
- Select Tickets as the report type
- Name your report (e.g., “Tier 2 – Open Tickets”) and add a description
- Choose the columns to display (e.g., Title, ID, Created Date, Status)
- Define your criteria (e.g., Group Responsibility = ITSS-Tier2)
- Set visibility: Owner, Owner and these People/Groups, or Everyone with this Application
- Click Save and Run
Tip: Reports are the preferred way to build consistent, reusable queues that can be shared and displayed in dashboards.
Adding Queues to Your Dashboard
Once you've created a report:
- In the IT Services app, click Edit Dashboard
- Change the layout or rearrange widget rows to format your dashboard
- Click the plus (+) icon where you want the report added

- Select your report from the widget options
- Click Save and then Refresh. Your report queue will now appear every time you open the IT Services app.
Customizing the Dashboard
You can tailor your IT Services dashboard layout to match your workflow:
- Add or remove widgets (ticket reports, calendars, etc.)
- Rearrange panels using drag-and-drop
Each application in TDx has its own dashboard layout, so you can customize views per app.
