Introduction

Poll Everywhere allows presenters to share and publish their activities beyond live presentations. You can distribute activities via email, post them on social media, or embed them on websites. This flexibility enables participants to engage with activities at their convenience.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, ensure the following:

  • You have created the activity in Poll Everywhere.
  • Web responses are enabled if you want participants to respond online.
  • You have access to the Send tab within Poll Everywhere.

Step-by-Step Instructions

Accessing the Sharing Options

To access the sharing and publishing tools for an activity:

  1. Go to your My Activities page.
  2. Select the title of the activity you want to share.
  3. Select the Send tab.
4. Select Share and embed to expand the sharing options.

Understanding the Sharing Options

In the Share and embed menu, you will find the following options:

  • Response link: A permanent link that allows participants to respond to this activity at any time, without activation.
  • PollEv.com/your_username: Your personal response page where only the currently activated activity is displayed.
  • Live Presentation view: A link to display the real-time results of the activity.
  • Embed script: A code snippet to embed the activity on a website.

Troubleshooting

For additional assistance, refer to Poll Everywhere's Activation article  or contact support.

  • Why isn't my activity receiving responses?
    • If you're using a response link, ensure web responses are enabled. If you're sharing your PollEv.com/your_username page, verify that the correct activity is activated.
  • Can I share multiple activities at once?
    • Yes! You can share multiple response links simultaneously since they do not require activation.
