Importing records from LastPass to Keeper Password Manager

A guide to importing records from Chico State LastPass Accounts to Chico State Keeper Security accounts.

What is the Keeper Desktop App?

The Keeper Desktop application provides automatic transfer of your LastPass vault to Keeper. Features included:

• Transfer of all passwords

• Transfer of Folders

• Transfer of Templates and Custom Fields to Keeper Record Types

• Transfer of custom fields, TOTP seeds

• Transfer of Record File Attachments

Import from LastPass to Keeper Security

1. Download the Keeper Desktop Application from Self Service (Macs) or Software Center (PCs)
2. Log in to the Desktop Application via Single Sign-on
3. Click on your account email in the upper right-hand corner​​​
   
    
4. Click Settings > Import
5. Click LastPass
6. Input your LastPass Email and Click Next. Leave the "Import Shared Folders" box Unchecked. Shared Folders have been imported from LastPass to Keeper by Chico State Admins
7. Log in to LastPass via the SSO prompt that appears
8. Review the list of records to be imported from LastPass. Leave the "Import Root Level Folders as Shared" box Unchecked and click Import
