Adding the Phish Alert button to Microsoft Outlook

The KnowBe4 Phish Alert button should deploy to your Microsoft Outlook enviroment, both the web application and desktop client, automatically. However, if you cannot find the button follow the these instructions to ensure the app is added to your enviroment:

  1. Open the 'More Apps' menu on the left sidebar in your version of Microsoft Outlook

  1. Click the 'Add Apps' button in the lower right-hand corner of the displayed menu.

  1. On the page the appears, select 'Built for your org' from the list applications catagories on the left-hand side of the screen.

  1. Select the 'Phish Alert' app by KnowBe4, inc.

  1. Click the 'Open' button in the upper left of the screen that appears.

  1. Select the 'Got It' button in the lower-right of the button that appears.

If you are using the desktop client on windows, the button should now be in the top ribbon menu. If you are using the Outlook Web Application or the desktop client on a Mac, the button should now appear in the 'Apps' menu in the upper right when viewing a message.
