Obtaining the Embed Code
To obtain the embed code for your Kaltura video, follow these steps:
- Navigate to media.csuchico.edu and log in with your Chico State account.
- Click your name in the top right corner and select My Media to view your personal media content.
- Find the video you wish to embed and select its title to open the video details page.
- Select Share, then Embed. This will display the embed code for your video.
- Right-click on the code in the box and choose Copy to copy the embed code to your clipboard.
You can now paste this embed code into any supported web platform that accepts embedded media.
Troubleshooting Kaltura Embeds
- Embed Code Not Working: Ensure the embed code was copied completely. If problems persist, verify the platform allows external embeds.
- Playback Issues on Canvas: Check the video’s privacy settings in Kaltura. Private or restricted videos may not display correctly when embedded.
