Completing the Student Financial Agreement

This article will guide students through completing the Financial Agreement in the Student Center to remove the registration hold on their account.

Instructions

Students must complete a Financial Agreement before registering for courses. This agreement confirms their understanding of the financial obligations associated with enrollment. Until it is completed, a registration hold will remain on their account.

1. Navigate to the Student Center. You can do this using the link in the Chico State Portal.
2. In the left sidebar, scroll to To Dos, Holds and Messages and click Tasks.
3. In the Tasks menu, you should see a Financial Agreement for the term you're enrolling in. 
4. Read the Financial Agreement, click the check box for Accept, then click Save and Next.
5. You'll receive a confirmation that says "Task Completed", click Finish and you'll return to Student Center. 
6. Once the Agreement has been completed, the registration hold will immediately be taken off of your student account.
