This tutorial will show you how to export and import a test from one course section to another. This is a convenient way to reuse existing quizzes and exams across your different sections.
First, you will need to export the test from its current course.
-
Navigate to the course containing the test.
-
Click on Course Tools in the Course Management panel on the left.

-
Click on Tests, Surveys, and Pools.

-
Select Tests.

-
Click on the arrow to the right of the test name.

-
Select Export to Local Computer, and save as a .ZIP file. Pay attention to where you save that file, as we will need it in the next step.

Next, you will import the test into the desired course.
-
Navigate to the desired course.
-
Click on Course Tools in the Course Management panel on the left.

-
Click on Tests, Surveys, and Pools.

-
Select Tests.

-
Select Import Test.

-
Select Browse Local Files.

-
Select the test ZIP file you just downloaded to your computer.
-
Click Submit, then click OK.
-
The last step is to deploy the test into a course content area in which your students can access it.
