Help Installing, Configuring, and Accessing Software

IT Support Services can assist with installing and configuring standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.), Adobe Acrobat, and other supported applications on PC and Macintosh computers. The list of supported applications can be found here: https://support.csuchico.edu/TDClient/1984/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=8730.

** If you are a student requesting access to Adobe Creative Cloud or Microsoft Project for a specific class, please include the name of your course (ex: CAGD-110, CSCI-431, etc.) and the professor's name in the description box. **

Many applications can be installed directly by users on ITSS-managed Windows computers by going to the Application Catalog. Instructions for accessing and using the Application Catalog can be found here: https://support.csuchico.edu/TDClient/1984/Portal/KB/ArticleDet?ID=11735. Mac users have a similar tool for installing approved software called "Self-Service".

If you are using a personal computer and only need to read and sign PDF documents, you can download and install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.

** If you are teaching a course to students who need to use specialized software applications, use this service to request assistance from IT Support Services in supporting your students' success. This may include assigning licenses or determining the best method of signing in (Google or Microsoft). Please include the name and section of your course (ex: CAGD-110-02) in the description box. **
